Upgrade to Enterprise
The Enterprise CMS includes a number of tools and capabilities not available with Essentials. Enterprise clients also receive greatly reduced pricing on media players, in addition to access to more Starmont services such as content creation and management (depending on service level).

Layout designer
In addition to choosing a screen design from the provided gallery, you can further edit the wireframe to your needs and liking.
Content template designer
Coming in spring 2026, the Content Template Designer will allow you to create reusable content templates for posting consistent brand-locked notices and information campaigns. Instead of uploading new completed works to the gallery, you can simply change text information in the playlist to be displayed in the template. Use the same templates over and over.
Kiosk designer
Enterprise includes tools for simple interactive kiosks. Starmont can also aid in the production of kiosk integrations according to your needs.
Bookmarkable device status page
View the status of your digital signage network's media players in a bookmarkable URL that doesn't require logging in to the Starmont servers.
Emergency notices
Easily override all programming on a screen with custom emergency messages.
Locations (location based programming)
Coming in spring of 2026, location based programming allows you to sandbox one or more media players into a location with a simple single log in and automatically created private gallery and playlists. The location's playlists will be appended to programming created by regular users.
Reports
Receive daily reports on all media players that are offline or have detectable hardware issues.
Shared galleries
Share galleries (images and videos) between multiple Starmont accounts.
Unlimited users
Go beyond Essentials' limit of 5 users on an account, and create as many as you require.

Additional external resources
YouTube playback
Copy and paste the URL to a video on YouTube to be transparently included in your gallery as any other video file.
External - BlueSky
Use a BlueSky feed as a source of text information such as news, reports and alerts.
External - PowerBI
Add Power BI dashboards in your External Feeds section to include in your playlist programming.
External - Google Slides
Add Google Slides slideshows in your External Feeds section to include in your playlist programming. All changes you make to the original slideshow will be reflected on screen, as Starmont servers will routinely pull new copies of your work from Google.
External - Slideshare
Add Slideshare slideshows in your External Feeds section to include in your playlist programming. All changes you make to the original slideshow will be reflected on screen, as Starmont servers will routinely pull new copies of your work from Slideshare.
External - iCalendar
iCalendar format calendars can be added to your playlists to display things such as upcoming events or meeting room information. Due to differences between different calendar apps, Starmont will aid in the proper set up and display of your calendars.

Additional services
Further to included software and hardware upgrades, Starmont can also supply human services for all aspects of your digital signage. Content creation (either internal or outsourced), content and device management and even on-site repairs in select markets (through a 3rd party provider) are a few of the possibilities. Media player pricing
Enterprise clients enjoy greatly reduced media player pricing, due to software and server resource costs being bundled into the monthly fee, as opposed to the upfront media player price. Depending on volume, the savings can be as much as 50%. Extended warranties are also available.

Cost
